We know there’s a lot of ‘greenwashing’ in the industry, so we wanted to share some of the work we do to protect our environment, promote equality and diversity, and generally try to make the world a better place.

Our Sustainability Journey
The Hampton Digital Services offices are powered by solar panels, which are able to provide us with 100% renewable energy during daytime use. The office itself is a renovated garden room, with 3 sides being mostly windows, letting us use natural light for the majority of the day and only turning on the LED-powered bulbs in the darker winter afternoons. Tracy drives an electric vehicle, and with no water or gas connected to the office, we are about as energy efficient as it can get.
But it’s not all about the big changes. Tracy knows that sustainability is as much about the little things, and those minor decisions and actions that can make a massive difference in the battle against climate change. Tracy and her team are working towards carbon neutrality in every aspect, including being members of schemes like Too Good To Go and Oddbox, which aim to avoid food waste in the grocery industry, as well as Ecologi, which we’ve recently joined, to continue our contributions towards environmental causes. We’ve conducted a Scope 1 & 2 review of our carbon emissions, and are currently working on Scope 3 with all of our suppliers.
We’re passionate about sharing the message of environmental care and sustainability, supporting businesses in making those small changes to start their journey. After all, if we can all do just one thing differently, we can have a massive impact on the world.
By working with Mossy Earth, we’re helping them to restore biodiversity in the world and fight climate change.
Each month, in partnership with Mossy Earth, we plant native trees to rebuild wild forests and capture carbon, and fund rewilding projects to restore fragile ecosystems and species.
In the words of Sir David Attenborough, to build nature’s resilience “We must rewild the world”. This is why we are supporting impactful rewilding and reforestation initiatives through our Climate Action Membership. From restoring kelp forests and reforesting the Scottish Highlands, to protecting Atlantic salmon and monitoring reintroduced European bison, we’re proud to be supporting the movement to rewild our planet.
To date, HDS has helped plant 106 trees and 53 rewilding projects through Mossy Earth.
